Co-Pastor
Co-Pastor LaShawn Allen-Talbert is a speaker, preacher, mentor, worship leader, and transformational voice to women across generations. As the Founder of Love Me First Ministries, her life's mission is simple yet profound:
helping women put God first, love themselves the way God sees them, and love the people in their tribe well.

Love Me First Ministries was birthed in 2006 in Champaign, Illinois, after God spoke a life-changing truth to LaShawn's heart:
"When you begin to love yourself and who I created you to be, you will become better."
Those words became more than a revelation — they became a movement.
LaShawn has walked through the realities of life — being a single mother of five, marriage, divorce, rebuilding, and making life-altering decisions. Through it all, God turned her pain into purpose and her testimony into a platform to help other women avoid unnecessary pain and discover healing, identity, and purpose.
LaShawn answered the call to preach the Gospel and has faithfully served in ministry through preaching, teaching, worship leadership, discipleship, and mentoring.
She previously served internationally alongside her husband as an International First Lady within the Dominion Assemblies Fellowship and currently serves as Co-Pastor and First Lady of Kingdom Life International Church.
For decades, LaShawn has mentored young women, preteens, wives, mothers, leaders, and women simply trying to find their footing in life. She is a life coach to many and takes women's health and mental health very seriously.
Her heart is to see women whole — spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and relationally.
LaShawn is a devoted wife, proud mother of eight beautiful children, and grandmother of four. She believes ministry begins at home but was never meant to stay there.
A worshipper at heart and a lover of God's presence, she believes transformation happens when women encounter God and embrace their identity in Christ.
A Midwife to Destiny
LaShawn believes every woman carries something God placed inside of her that the world is waiting for. Her life's work is to help women give birth to their God-given destiny, businesses, ministries, healing, confidence, and purpose.
There is something inside of you that heaven is waiting on. My assignment is to help you push past fear, insecurity, and limitation so you can give birth to what God placed within you.
Because when one woman gives birth to her purpose, entire families, communities, and generations are transformed.
Her Message. Her Mission. Her Mandate.
